Susan Stone is a podcaster and producer. She is an award-winning freelance journalist specializing in culture and storytelling. She spent a decade at American public radio station NPR before coming to Berlin on a Bosch Fellowship. Since then, she has written for NPR, BBC, DW and others. Along the way, she is a regular jury member of the RIAS Media Prize and works as a podcast consultant for write and live, International Politics Quarterly and Human Rights Watch, among others. Since 2017 she is producer of the podcast Dead Ladies Show.
